Since 1987, Senior Counseling Group, LLC has been a pioneer in providing behavioral and mental health services to older adults in long term care, independent, and assisted living residences.

Our mission is to meet the emotional needs of our clients through evidence-based interventions. Our team of clinicians work in cooperation and collaboration with the nursing facility staff to improve quality of life for residents experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, behavioral challenges, and difficult life transitions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Social Service Director will fax to SCG, LLC a signed Primary Care Physician Order, “resident face sheet”, and our proprietary resident symptom checklist.

Customarily, an interdisciplinary meeting between the provider, the social service director and staff is held every quarter. The primary care physician can attend these meetings or receive an update from the Social Service Director at the conclusion of the meeting. Additionally, our providers are in regular contact with Social Service directors so emergent issues/challenges are communicated weekly.
